ARMAS UGARTECHEA is back and will build NECG our New England Custom "Knock-About" coming soon in early 2024.
The NECG "Knock-About" will be a solid, no nonsense bird hunting gun from the ground up. It will be a non-ejector boxlock based on Ugartechea's Model 40N with double triggers and a cased colored finish. It will be offered in 20 and 28 gauge models* with 26" barrels with flat top rib and fixed chokes of Improve Cylinder & Modified. Chokes can be altered for a fee.
The "Knock-About" will feature an English stock with a splinter forend in Grade 3-2 wood and a hand rubbed oil finish. The stock will have a standard dimensions with a Drop at Comb of 1 1/2", a Drop at Heel of 2 1/4" and a Cast Off of 1/8" -1/4". The length of pull will be customized to meet the customers needs out to a maximum length of almost 16" with a 1" NECG "Quick Mount" recoil pad.
The expected price of the New England Custom "Knock-About" will be $4,995.00
