RUGER Mini-14 Stainless Ranch .223 This 580 Series Mini-14 was set up for the night time hunting of coyotes. The sights were removed and the 17.5" barrel was threaded 1/2-28 for suppressor use. A picatinny hand guard was installed and the front fixed swivel loop was removed and the swivel head modified for QD style swivels. Extra high 30mm stainless steel rings were used to allow a clip-on thermal to clear the forend. A cheekpiece riser was installed to align with higher scope position. The gun shoots Underwood 62 grain "Controlled Chaos" ammunition very well. The gun is in great shape and worked very well, its just looking for a new home as a 22ARC bolt gun took its place. Factory box and a couple 5 round mags are included. Priced to sell with upgrades, as is.
