Purchased last fall the rear sight associated with this, and left a review on it last year. Just looking again at this site, so decided to leave a review for this.

This sight was plenty tall on my no 1 with the rear QD ghost. there was a fair amount of filing I did to get the height of this sight in sync with a mid point adjustment for the rear; the rear screw insert doesn't have a real large range of adjustment.

A couple of trips to the range made it come together, so I could rough it in initially, and get it fine tuned so the the rear ghost was adj to mid point of threads.

A key concept with this is that you are regulating the sight to a particular load, least I am. A 45-70 load can vary so much where the elevation can vary much, so I am using with a specific bullet and load. I don't expect to tune the sight for all possible loads, no way.

Anyway, super happy with the products from NECG. While pricey, solid and top quality. Highly recommended.
