This unique compact miniature telescope, measuring just 92 x 57 x 44 mm, gives the user an extremely close-focus distance of only 35 cm allowing a close-up macro study of all kinds of subjects. The user can even observe wildlife and insects in great detail at close range without disturbing them.

At the same time, the Minoscope functions as a brilliant, 8-power telescope, bringing distant objects into crisp, clear view.

The short and compact telescope body, designed by Volkswagen-Design, has a field of view of more than 114 m. It also has the added advantage of being handy and easy to use for partially sighted people.

MINOX have made this technically possible due to the extremely short and compact build of the MS 8x25 and the clever use of Porro prisms which provide naturally high light transmission. High quality multi-layer coating of the optics ensures bright images with high contrast and accurate color rendition under all conditions.

With just a single turn of less than 360° of the focusing ring on the lens it is possible to adjust the mini telescope to any setting from close-up to infinite.
